In the middle of this week, after the stage of accepting documents from applicants in higher and most secondary vocational schools of our country, the relay race of entrance exams started, the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan” reports.

The examination campaign takes place in the capital and in velayat centers according to the schedule developed specifically for each specialized educational institution.

On July 28, the entrance examinations to the Turkmen State University named after Mahtumkuli among the applicants of Balkan velayat began. The exams will run until July 30th. Further, from 1 to 4 August, Dashoguz velayat will enter the examination period.

After entrance exams in Ashgabat, Ahal and Mary velayats, applicants from Lebap velayat will apply for the status of first-year students of TSU, where the traditional test of knowledge will take place from 21 to 23 August.

According to the same scheme, the marathon of entrance exams, which in total will last in Turkmenistan until August 27, will be held in all higher and secondary vocational schools.

An equally hot atmosphere accompanies the introductory campaign that has unfolded these days in secondary vocational schools, the number of which, as you know, in our country is almost twice the number of higher schools, with the exception of only those universities that are subordinate to the power ministries.

In a good half of vocational schools, the procedure for accepting documents from applicants has already been completed, in the rest it will continue until mid-August.

In a number of secondary vocational schools, exams and the procedure for subsequent enrollment in freshmen of the most successful applicants will be completed before the end of the first decade of August.
