The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Thursday trades registered deals on the procurement of polyethylene, plastic pallets and Turkmen handmade carpets.
For the domestic market, a local business purchased 100 tons of polyethylene grade T60-475-119 for 1.8 million manats, the SCRMET announced on Thursday.
During the auction, business circles purchased 15,000 pieces of P4-D2 plastic pallets of Senagat Plastik company for a total of 8.8 million manats. Another local business bought Turkmen handmade carpets for a total of 11.3 thousand manats.
Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $29.7 million.
