The Youth Forum of Central Asian Countries and China “New Era of the Great Silk Road” continues its work in Mary.
As it is known, the proposal to hold it was voiced by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the first Summit of Heads of State of the “Central Asia-China” format, held in the Chinese city of Xi’an in May of this year.
The organization of a large-scale event, held in order to deepen and expand traditional ties between the peoples of the states of the Central Asian region and the PRC, was entrusted to the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, the relevant ministries and line departments, as well as the hyakimlik of Mary velayat.

A “fishbowl” session, where discussions take place in small group discussions, is aimed at consulting. Suhanov Dovrangeldi, a teacher at the Department of General Technical Education at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, speaks here from Turkmenistan.
Turkmenistan, invariably following the principle “Dialogue is a guarantee of peace”, always emphasizes the need to establish friendly relations with countries of the world and carefully preserve the age-old traditions of trust.
In this context, it is very symbolic to hold the current forum in the city of Mary, which was called in ancient times “the gateway to Central Asia”, and has now become a sister city of Xi’an, the ancient capital of China, where the Great Silk Road originated.
