The Turkmenistan Basketball Cup ended in Ashgabat. The competition brought together 6 men's and 6 women's teams from all over the country. The games were held at the sports complex of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.
Following the results of five days of competition, the women’s tournament was won by the basketball players of the “Ashgabat 1” team, who beat “Talyp” in the final. The “Maliyechi” team won bronze.
Among men, the MGSC team won first place and the title of Cup winner. In the decisive match they beat the “Gurlushykchy” club. The “Talyp Sports” team took third place.
