As of June 17, 2023, the cost of the required fee for all nonimmigrant visas (tourist and student) to the United States for residents of Turkmenistan will increase from $160 to $185.
“This is a worldwide change. If you have an interview scheduled on or after June 17 for one of these types of visas at the US Embassy in Ashgabat, please remember to bring the new amount of 185 in cash in US dollars to the interview embassies.
Note that a non-immigrant visa to the United States entitles a foreigner to enter and temporarily stay for a specific purpose. Nonimmigrant visas to the United States are usually granted for leisure and travel, study, business tasks, temporary employment, and other intentions of a foreigner.
