The Turkmenistan national futsal team performed well at the prestigious international tournament dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, winning an honorable second place.
In the final match of the 4th round, Turkmen futsal players under the leadership of Yakub Ovezov defeated the representative of the regular championship of Belarus, MFK Minsk, beating the opponent with a score of 3:2.
Earlier in the tournament, the Turkmenistan national team defeated another participant in the Belarusian championship - the Okhrana-Dynamo club from Minsk - with a convincing score of 7:1.
In the first two rounds, the Turkmen team lost to the titled national team of Belarus with results of 4:0 and 4:1.
