The “Turkmendenizderyayollary” Agency discussed joint projects with the Dutch Royal IHC

Representatives of the “Turkmendenizderyayollary” Agency held negotiations with the Dutch company Royal IHC on the issues of dredging the bottom of the inland waterways of Turkmenistan, the agency’s official website reports.

The parties discussed the prospects for joint construction of dredgers at shipyards in Turkmenistan.

The Royal IHC delegation also visited the “Balkan” shipbuilding and repairing yard in Turkmenbashy, where they became familiar with the technical capabilities of the enterprise. The guests highly appreciated the modern technologies and innovations of the plant.

Within the framework of the visit, there was also a trip to Lebap velayat to study the issue of constructing a dredger at the local “Deryayollary” plant.

The Netherlands-based Royal IHC, founded in 1642, is a world leader in dredging fleets and dredge construction. More than 90 dredgers of this company are operated in Turkmenistan.

Previously, the deputy director of the “Balkan” plant held a number of meetings in the Netherlands, including with the management of Royal IHC to develop cooperation.
