On November 18-20, the autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA) took place in Yerevan. A delegation from the Mejlis of Turkmenistan took part in the session, reports the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
At the session, which was held under the motto “OSCE in times of crisis: the role of the Assembly in responding to internal and external challenges,” the Turkmen delegation made a report in which it presented the international initiatives of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov related to issues of ensuring peace and security.
“During the speech, confidence was expressed that Turkmenistan’s proposals would find support from the OSCE PA member states and it was emphasized that Turkmenistan is ready to further develop parliamentary cooperation based on the status of permanent neutrality and peaceful policy,” the statement said.
