The Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran I.Gaipov held a meeting in Mashhad with the director of the Iranian weekly newspaper and online news service Nohostnews (“First News”) Ali Pakbaz Khosrowshahi.
The main topic of discussion was the prospects for cooperation in the field of mass media, reports the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
At the meeting, joint plans in the information sphere and the possibility of covering the development of Turkmen-Iranian relations were discussed. The Consul General presented the book of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov “Youth is the support of the Motherland” to familiarize yourself with the youth policy of the state.
The Turkmen side informed that 2024 in Turkmenistan has been declared the year of “The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi”, within the framework of which a number of international cultural and scientific events are planned to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi.
In this regard, representatives of Nohostnews were invited to participate in international events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Turkmen poet and thinker.
