The Turkmen Ambassador discussed expanding cooperation with the rector of Tbilisi Medical University

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov met with the rector of the Tbilisi State Medical University Irakli Natroshvili. The parties discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation between medical universities of the two countries, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

The interlocutors noted the positive dynamics in the development of Turkmen-Georgian relations in many areas, including education. Regular exchanges of visits, joint conferences and forums contribute to the consistent and fruitful development of ties in this area.

Particular attention was paid to the previously signed Cooperation Agreement between the Turkmen State Medical University named after M. Garryev and Tbilisi Medical University. The document became an impetus for intensifying academic and scientific contacts between universities of the two countries.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for further mutually beneficial partnership and implementation of joint projects and programs aimed at strengthening scientific and cultural ties between Turkmenistan and Georgia.
