The Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan becomes a training centre under the ITF

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has officially authorized Turkmenistan to be an authorized training center, the electronic newspaper “Golden Age” reports.

The corresponding certificate signed by the President of the ITF David Haggerty and Executive Director of the ITF Luca Santili was received on Tuesday by the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan (FTT).

The document gives the right to conduct annual coaching seminars, agreed with the International Tennis Federation, to independently attest and certify national coaches, while using the ITF logos on the documentation.

Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan was officially registered on the 14th of April 1992 and from those time become a strong organizer engaged in the development and popularization of tennis in Turkmenistan.

Since 1997, the TFT has been an associate member, and since 2003 — a full member of the International Tennis Federation (ITF), which now unites 159 national organizations with the status of full members and 54 associate members.
