The event, which is a symbol of fruitful bilateral partnership, brought together a delegation from the Republic of Austria, including members of the Austrian-Turkmen Society, famous opera soloists, a conductor and dancers.

In his welcoming speech, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the special place of relations with Austria in Turkmenistan's foreign policy and the importance of such cultural events for strengthening friendly ties between the two countries.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people also thanked the head of the Austrian-Turkmen Society, Mrs.Neda Berger, for her services in developing friendly relations between the countries and organizing this cultural event.

In turn, Neda Berger congratulated everyone on this significant event and expressed deep gratitude to the head of the Turkmen state and the National Leader of the Turkmen people for their support and high-level organization of the sixth Vienna Ball, designed to further strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries, as well as peace and prosperity on the planet.

Neda Berger expressed her sincere feelings in poetry dedicated to the great poet Magtymguly Fragi and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The evening's program included performances by the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the direction of Austrian conductor Wolfgang Harrer, as well as popular works from national and world classical music.

The special highlight of the ball was the performances of star vocalists Konstantin Rittel-Kobylyansky and Amelia Khoy, as well as the dance couple Dimitar Stefanin and Irina Grasser.

The Vienna Ball in Turkmenistan, first held in Ashgabat in 2011, has become a traditional event promoting cultural exchange and strengthening creative contacts between artists of the two countries. The event ended with the performance of the song “Garaşsyz, Bitarap Türkmenistan!”, glorifying the independence and progress of Turkmenistan.
