The second Turkmen-Uzbek interregional forum will be held in Lebap velayat

On November 20-21, the city of Turkmenabat will host the Second Turkmen-Uzbek Interregional Forum, which will be accompanied by a national exhibition of Uzbek goods. Bilateral meetings and the signing of a number of cooperation documents are planned as part of the event, TDH reports.

As it became known during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the forum program includes a grand opening ceremony on November 20, after which a concert of artists from both countries will be held at the Seyitnazar Seydi State Music and Drama Theater.

On the second day of the forum, November 21, consultations will be held on the development of cooperation in the trade and tourism sectors, as well as strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries.

The President of Turkmenistan, addressing the recently appointed Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyev, emphasized the importance of this event in the context of developing trade and economic relations with Uzbekistan. The head of state instructed to ensure a high level of organization of both the forum and the national exhibition of Uzbek goods.
