The ruble exchange rate at “the black market” of Turkmenistan plummets

Following the new sections imposed by the USA against some Russian officials and entrepreneurs the ruble exchange rate at the Moscow stock exchange collapsed on 10 April, 2018.

Foreign currency speculators in Turkmenistan responded to this promptly. The ruble exchange rate at “the black market” in Ashgabat dropped by 20%.The Russian ruble previously cost 0,25 manats and now it is bought at 0,20 manats.

Moreover, no less than 1000 Rubles are accepted as foreign currency speculators refuse to exchange smaller amounts of cash.
