It is expected that next year a circular cruise route will open on five countries, bordering on the Caspian Sea, and these are: Kazakhstan - Turkmenistan - Iran - Azerbaijan - Russia. About this reports MIA “Kazinform”.

At present time, these countries are carrying out relevant work and solving the main issues. Especially for this route, a cruise liner is being built in Astrakhan, which will be called “Great Rus”.

As told acting director of Chairman of the Transport Committee of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym Tlepov, it is expected that the ship will be built next year.

He also named the route of the tourist vessel: from Astrakhan to Aktau, from Aktau to the Turkmen national tourist zone “Avaza”, then to Iranian Amirabad, from there to Baku and Makhachkala.
