The progress of seasonal field work in Turkmenistan is reviewed

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a digital working meeting dedicated to the current seasonal field work in the country. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tanryguly Atahalliyev and the heads of all velayats.

As TDH reports, the heads of administrations of Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats reported on the progress of agricultural campaigns.

As noted, grain harvesting is in full swing in the country. The harvested crop is transported to collection points, and payments are made to farmers. The vacated fields are being prepared for the next sowing season.

A set of agrotechnical measures is carried out on cotton fields: inter-row cultivation, weeding, thinning, fertilization and watering. The harvest of potatoes and other crops continues. In Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, special attention is paid to caring for rice crops.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the important role of the agricultural sector in strengthening the national economy. The head of Turkmenistan focused on the need to conduct the harvest campaign at a high organizational level and strict adherence to agrotechnical standards when caring for cotton crops.
