At the Cabinet session held on 24 September President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov called for building modern villages in Akhal velayat.
The state information agency TDH reports that the villages are scheduled to be built in gengeshlik office (local administration) of Kopetdag and Geokdepe etraps and Govshut gengeshlik office of Ak Bugday and Kaakhka etraps in Akhal velayat.
Pursuant to the schedule, the construction works will be launched in October 2018 and will be fully completed in September 2021.
