1.President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will visit Budapest on the weekend, August 19-20.This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of Hungary Peter Szijjarto.
In Hungary on August 20, a national festival of the founding of the state is celebrated - St.Istwan's Day.In addition, on August 19, the World Athletics Championship starts in Budapest.
2.The “Turkmenagnashyk” Agency invites to participate in the competition of innovative projects “Digital Solution - 2023”.The competition is aimed at identifying and encouraging young people involved in the development of software and innovative inventions and startups in Turkmenistan.
The winners of the competition will be announced as part of the International Exhibition and the Scientific Conference “Turkmenel-2023”, which will be held in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
Winners will be awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts.Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until October 20, 2023.
3.The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov met with the chairman of the secretariat of the Japanese-Turkmen inter-parliamentary friendship group in order to exchange views on mutual cooperation.
Within the framework of the meeting, the ambassador presented a new book by the National leader of the Turkmen people, chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, “Continuation of the meaning of my life”.

The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan invites the company to take part in an international tender for the purchase of goods for the International Center for the Treatment of Head and Neck Diseases. The tender refers to Lot No. 29, which includes medical equipment, medical supplies, medical and other prescriptions.
5. The general agent of the “Turkmenistan” airline in Russia announced additional places for flights along the Ashgabad-Kazan route to September.

6.In Türkiye, an unusual balloon festival was held. 22 balls with participants from 7 countries climbed into the sky.The balls were decorated in the form of ice cream, duck, obelix, octopus, spaceship and Turkish flag.
The festival was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye.This is for the second year in a row, when the festival takes place in Cappadocia.
Last year, more than 100 000 people took part in the festival.
7.Scientists from Osak University in Japan taught the neural network to determine the age of the X -ray of the chest.The discrepancies between the real age and the result calculated by AI indicate the presence of any chronic disease.
At first, scientists trained a neural network on the chest radiograms of 36 thousand healthy people.The AI then proposed to investigate the data of volunteers suffering from various diseases.
After that, scientists analyzed the relationship between age, which determined the neural network, and each of the presented diseases.

8. From August 14 to 25, 2023, a joint training collection of cyclists of Turkmenistan and the UAE hosts in Ashgabat. The Abu Dhabi bicycle club came to the capital of Turkmenistan to prepare for the upcoming competition and exchange experience with Turkmen colleagues.
Training is held at different distances and landscapes, including the Olympic town and the foothills of Kopetdag. Athletes overcome from 60 to 110 kilometers daily, experiencing their strength and endurance. Especially impressed by foreign guests, the beauty of the mountain town of Hecher, where they spent the first day of training.
