Today, within the framework of the fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, together with his colleagues from Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, visited the exhibition of commodity producers of Central Asian countries, which took place at the International Exhibition Center in Dushanbe, the “Watan” information program reported.

The large-scale show is a clear demonstration of economic growth and the potential of leading industries, increased activity of business circles, and progressive transformations in the region.At the same time, the exhibition is intended to become an open platform for identifying priority areas of interstate cooperation and forming its effective mechanisms with a view to the future, mutually beneficial exchange of experience in various fields, holding business meetings and negotiations.
The exposition presented by Turkmenistan provides a clear picture of the country’s achievements and successes in all key sectors of the economy, including the private sector, the existing potential and opportunities for productive long-term interaction with foreign partners, and the implementation of investment projects.

The Turkmenistan pavilion showcases products from leading sectors of the national economy, including the fuel and energy sector and the petrochemical industry, which produces high-quality petroleum products, polyethylene, polypropylene, etc.
A variety of textile and light industry products, glass products, and types of building materials are also presented here.Digitalization of the national economy contributes to the development of the domestic electronics industry.
Samples of its products - computer equipment, Wi-Fi routers, LED lamps and other products - are also exhibited in the Turkmenistan pavilion.
Famous Turkmen carpets also occupy a special place in the exhibition. Among the hand-made paintings exhibited at the exhibition are also elegant silk carpets.
A separate section of the exposition of Turkmenistan is dedicated to the transport and logistics potential of the country. A model of the Turkmenbashy International Seaport is demonstrated here, whose advanced infrastructure provides a wide range of opportunities for maritime and multimodal cargo transportation on a regional and continental scale.
After viewing the exhibition, the heads of state highly appreciated its organization, noting the impressive potential and prospects for further building up and diversifying mutually beneficial cooperation between the countries of Central Asia.
After leaving the International Exhibition Center, the leaders of friendly countries also examined samples of agricultural, automotive and other specialized equipment produced in the countries of the region displayed in the open area.
In honor of the distinguished guests, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan gave an official reception at the Kohi Istiklol Palace.
