The President of Turkmenistan participates in the sixth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asia

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived on a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the sixth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.

According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, this event is a continuation of the initiative put forward several years ago by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, aimed at strengthening regional partnerships through systematic political dialogue at the highest level.

Consultative meetings of the heads of state of Central Asia over the past years have proven their effectiveness in forming a holistic view of regional cooperation and identifying its priority areas.

In the context of the growing role of the Central Asian region in continental and global processes, Turkmenistan is actively promoting ideas for optimal implementation of the potential of interstate interaction.

The current meeting provides heads of state with the opportunity to discuss current issues of regional cooperation and outline ways to implement new large-scale joint projects, the source notes.
