At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the results of the work of the industrial and energy complex of Turkmenistan for January were summed up, TDH reports.
As Deputy Prime Minister Baymyrat Annamammedov reported, plans for production in industrial sectors and electricity production were fulfilled in January.
Thus, during the reporting period, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture fulfilled the plan for the work performed by 110.2%, for the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production the plan was fulfilled by 104.3%, and for the Ministry of Energy - by 115.8%.
Since the beginning of this year, the State Concern Türkmenhimiýa has produced products and completed work for a total amount of 176 million manats, the plan has been fulfilled by 137.7%.
In January 2024, the State Agency for the Management of Highway Construction fulfilled the plan for the work performed by 109.1%, and the hyakimlik of the city of Ashgabat - by 111.4%.
Summing up, the head of state emphasized the importance of ensuring the stable operation of industrial enterprises and uninterrupted energy supply to the population and industries. He instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to strengthen control over the progress of construction of key infrastructure facilities.
