On 30 August President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov met with Sung Sang-Rok, President and CEO of South-Korean Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd .
The sides raised the issues pertaining to the implementation of investment projects in industrial processing of natural resources and diversification of the industrial sector of the Turkmen economy, the state information agency TDH reports.
In the course of the meeting prospects for cooperation in transportation and logistics and carrying out joint infrastructure projects were under discussion. Sung Sang-Rok expressed readiness to propose new mutually beneficial proposals to Turkmenistan.
It was emphasized that the Korean company was a partner in the construction project to build the polyethylene and polypropylene manufacturing facility in Kiyanly, Balkan velayat.
