President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov issued a severe reprimand to Deputy Prime Minister for Fuel and Energy Complex Myratgeldi Meredov for improper performance of official duties and shortcomings in his work. He was also given a final warning indicating that these deficiencies should be rectified immediately.
The heads of the Turkmengaz and Turkmenneft state concerns Batyr Amanov and Guychgeldi Baigeldiev, the chairman of the Turkmengeologia state corporation Merdan Rozyev, the general director of the Turkmenbashi refinery complex Dovran Chishiev received severe reprimands.
The President expressed dissatisfaction with the organization of the activities of these leading structures of the oil and gas sector at a meeting on the development of the country’s fuel and energy complex, held on Tuesday, February 2nd.
