During a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to speed up work on the construction of interregional and internal roads, as well as the reconstruction of existing ones, TDH writes.
As noted, during the meeting the results of the work of the construction and industrial sectors for January-February of this year were discussed. According to Deputy Prime Minister Baymyrat Annamammedov, during the corresponding period, ministries and departments fulfilled plans for production and construction work by 117.2%.
Thus, according to the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, the plan for the work done was completed by 107.3%. In the first two months of this year, the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production fulfilled the plan for production and work carried out 100%.
During the reporting period, the Ministry of Energy fulfilled the plan for production of products and work done by 112.4%. Since the beginning of the year, the State Concern “Turkmenhimiya” has fulfilled the plan for production and work performed by 143.7%.
In January-February of this year, the plan for work carried out by the State Agency for the Management of Highway Construction was completed by 109.8%, and by the Ashgabat city hyakimlik - by 109.7%.
After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that this year the country plans to commission a number of large industrial and social facilities. In this regard, it is important to achieve the effective functioning of enterprises in the construction and industrial complexes to complete the construction of these structures on time and with high quality.
The importance of using chemical plants at full capacity was also pointed out.
It is necessary to increase the capacity of the energy sector and electricity exports. Work on the construction of interregional and internal highways, as well as the reconstruction of existing ones, should be accelerated, the head of state emphasized, giving the Deputy Prime Minister relevant instructions.
