President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting using the digital system on the development of the country's agro-industrial complex, TDH reports. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tangryguly Atahalliyev and the hyakims of all velayats.
The agenda included issues of the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the regions.Hyakims reported on the pace of preparation for the spring sowing campaign.In particular, they are caring for wheat crops, plowing and leveling land for the future cotton harvest, checking the technical condition of agricultural machines and units, procuring seeds, as well as preparing for planting potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops.
Separately, the hyakims reported on the situation with heating, electricity and water supply in their subordinate territories.
Summing up the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of timely and high-quality implementation of the entire range of agricultural work necessary to obtain high yields.
The head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister and hyakims to take special control over the issues of caring for wheat, preparing land and seeds for sowing cotton, and ensuring the uninterrupted operation of all life support systems in the velayats.
