The President of Turkmenistan discussed strengthening international law and order with UN representative Natalia German

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Executive Director of the UN Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee Natalia Gherman. During the conversation, issues of strengthening the international legal order and developing a multipolar system of global governance were discussed, TDH reports.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan actively interacts with the UN and its specialized structures, striving to implement the principles and goals of the Organization’s Charter. He noted that the country’s foreign policy is aimed at promoting dialogue and cooperation in the interests of stability and progress at the regional and international levels.

The head of state also expressed confidence in the importance of effective interaction with the UN to develop comprehensive measures to strengthen international security.Turkmenistan will continue to support initiatives aimed at increasing the level of cooperation, exchange of information and experience in the fight against terrorism, as well as strengthening legal and institutional mechanisms to protect peace and stability.

Natalia Gherman thanked for the productive partnership between Turkmenistan and the UN, emphasizing her readiness for further cooperation to ensure lasting peace on the planet. At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished Ms. German good health and success in her new mission.
