The President of Turkmenistan demanded to increase the pace of care for crops

Today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov demanded to increase the pace of care for cotton, wheat, potatoes, onions and other crops during a working video conference with the heads of regions and Deputy Prime Minister Annageldi Yazmyradov, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex.

Having listened to the reports of the hakims of the velayats, the President of the country noted that the fate of future harvests depends on how agricultural work is carried out today, stressing that they must be carried out taking into account the norms and terms of agricultural technology, and most importantly, qualitatively.

“In this regard, the head of state instructed to increase the pace of care for cotton, wheat, potatoes, onions and other crops,” the Turkmen television news program Watan reported.

He stressed that it is also necessary to sow rice as scheduled, as well as take measures to fulfill the plan for harvesting cocoons.

The President of Turkmenistan also ordered to take control over the quality and timing of the construction of various facilities and engineering structures within the framework of the Program for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program, scheduled for commissioning this year.
