Fertilizing with mineral fertilizers, vegetative irrigation, preventive measures to combat agricultural pests and plant diseases continue on the fields sown with cotton.
In addition, potatoes, vegetable and melon crops are harvested with their subsequent delivery to the domestic market.
In Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, mineral fertilizers are replenished and vegetative irrigation of rice crops is carried out, and sugar beet sowing is carried out in Mary velayat.
Addressing the participants of the workshop, the President of Turkmenistan focused on the work carried out in agriculture, noting that some shortcomings were made in their implementation.Stressing that with proper observance of the norms of agricultural technology, it was possible to achieve higher indicators, the head of state strictly demanded that the Vice-premier and hyakims of the velayats ensure timely and high-quality implementation of agrotechnical requirements.
