The President of Turkmenistan congratulated the leadership of Japan

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Emperor Naruhito of Japan, Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida and the people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Japan.

“Relations between our states are based on mutual respect, equality and trust in each other. Turkmenistan is interested in expanding bilateral cooperation. I am confident that as a result of joint efforts, bilateral cooperation will continue to develop in the interests of our peoples,” the head of Turkmenistan noted.

As President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated with satisfaction, over the past period, high milestones have been achieved in the development of interstate cooperation based on mutual respect, equality and friendship. Over the years of cooperation, an open political dialogue and constructive trade and economic relations have been established, cultural and humanitarian ties have strengthened.

Today, our countries are successfully coordinating their steps in the format of multilateral cooperation, as well as within the framework of authoritative international organizations.

At the same time, it is noteworthy that leading Japanese companies are involved in the implementation of large industrial projects in Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized, expressing readiness to create all the necessary conditions for the continuation of partnerships and active activities of companies in this area.
