A new film by Sahysalyh Bayramov, Daragt, was shown the other day on the air of the national television of Turkmenistan.
Also, the premiere session with a full house was held at the Ashgabat cinema. The creators of the film were also present here - the director, actors and members of the film crew, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
In the film drama Daragt, the fate of a simple Turkmen family is traced through the prism of history. The husband of the main character goes to the front of the Great Patriotic War, his wife, having become the head of the family, experiences all the hardships of military hard times.
The script of the film was written by Akmurad Rejepov based on real stories told by eyewitnesses of those years.
The main roles in the film were played by: Shemshat Kasymova, Turan Gurbanova, Aydogdy Sopyev, Yolaman Nurymov, Muhammetguly Kasymov, Oguljahan Kulyeva. The source notes that the actors of the State Russian Drama Theater named after A. S. Pushkin also took part in the filming: Svyatoslav Lavin, Anastasia Zagorodneva, Mikhail Rogov.
