The participants of the Turkmenistan national team for the Asian Wrestling Championship Alysh in Osh has been named

It has become known who is going to represent Turkmenistan the Asian Wrestling Championship Alysh in Osh (Kyrgyzstan).

The tournament will be held on May 21-23. In the framework of the tournament 24 medals sets will be played among women and men.

The main coach of the Turkmenistan national team Dayanch Orazmuhammedov formed the composition based on the results of control fights.

The men's team included: Dayanch Guvanjov (student of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports), Iskander Ashirov (student of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management), Agayusup Garayev (student of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports), Rozymurad Medov, Arslan Hojamberdiyev (both military personnel), Palvan Gurbangeldiyev (student of the Institute of Engineering-technical and transport communications of Turkmenistan) and Nurmuhammet Aydogdyev (student of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports).

Students of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports Nigara Jumaniyazova, Gulnara Jorayeva, Jemal Ovlyakuliyeva, Naziya Jorayeva and athlete of the Belt Wrestling Federation of Turkmenistan Maral Garjikova went to the Asian Championship as part of the women's national team of Turkmenistan.

In total, more than 300 athletes from 14 countries will take part in the Asian Wrestling Alysh Championship: Afghanistan, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Korea, Mongolia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, the Philippines and Japan.

Sportsmen, who make a podium, will be awarded with medals and valuable prizes.

The event is the second stage of of selection for the IV World Nomad Games, which will be held in September 2022 in the Turkish city of Iznik.
