The oil and gas university of Turkmenistan and PETRONAS signed a memorandum

A memorandum of understanding was signed by the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas and “PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd”.

As reported by “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the signing ceremony of the document took place on the sidelines of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Prospects of Innovative Technologies in Chemistry and Gas Chemistry”.

The memorandum envisages the expansion and development of joint research and projects in the fields of oil and gas, geology, chemical technologies, digital economy, as well as renewable energy sources, green energy, and solutions to environmental problems associated with climate change.

It is also planned to publish the results of research by professors, teachers, specialists and young scientists in international scientific journals.

The Turkmen Oil and Gas University and the company “PETRONAS Charigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd” have been successfully cooperating in the field of science and education for several years.

Professors and teachers of the Petronas University of Technology regularly organize online courses and trainings for students and young teachers of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas on the implementation of innovative technologies and digital systems used in the oil and gas industry, the source notes.
