The new Government tribune in the south of Ashgabat will be opened on September 16

In honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, a ceremony of opening a new Government tribune located along Kopetdag Avenue will be held in Ashgabat.

According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, the opening ceremony of the Government tribune is scheduled for September 16, 2021.

Currently, work is underway on the design of a new facility with the active use of digital technologies. On September 27, the main events dedicated to the anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence will be held here, including a military parade and a review of the successes and achievements of economic sectors and the social complex.

The total area of the Government tribune is 20 thousand 450 square meters. An area of 47 thousand 324 square meters is landscaped around.

The project includes a Presidential tribune and a tribune for guests with 2 thousand seats. A small hill was chosen for this object, from where an extensive panorama of Ashgabat opens.

The height of the front facade of the object is 32.55 meters. There is a front hall, 4 halls for receiving guests, a hall for special events, as well as a service area. The width of the grandstand is 160 meters, there is also a heliport.

The customer of this object was the hyakimlik of the city of Ashgabat. The grandstand building was built by the French company Bouygues. The branch of the Russian company “Vozrozhdenie” in Turkmenistan has completed work on the construction of roads and the square in front of the tribune.
