The national team of the United Arab Emirates will compete with the Turkmen tennis players in the Davis Cup playoffs in the IV group of the zone of Asia and Oceania. This became known after the drawing of lots.
The meeting will take place on October 23 at the courts of the Bahrain Tennis Federation in the city of Madinat Isa.
We remind that the national team of Turkmenistan reached the playoffs of the competition ahead of schedule, confidently taking 1st place in group B. In other groups, the national teams of Saudi Arabia (A, 1st place), UAE (A, 2nd place), Iran (C, 1st place), Cambodia (C, 2nd place) and Iraq (B, 2nd place).
As a reminder, the top three teams following the results of the playoffs will be eligible to play in Group III of the Asia and Oceania zone next year.
