The National Organization for Barcodes and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan signed a memorandum of cooperation

The Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed by the National Barcode Organization of Turkmenistan (GS1 “Turkmenistan”) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country.

The document is aimed at developing the export potential of Turkmen producers, their unimpeded access to world markets, according to the website of GS1 “Turkmenistan”.

Within the framework of the implementation of the Memorandum, joint events are envisaged to help increase the knowledge and awareness of domestic entrepreneurs about the rules of international trade, export procedures, quality and compliance standards, as well as the specific requirements of foreign markets.

As noted during the ceremony, the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the National Barcode Organization of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry will bring relations between these organizations to a new level, serve to intensify bar coding, mutually beneficial contacts between representatives of Turkmen business circles and foreign colleagues and, in general, consistent development of trade, economic, investment and scientific technical potential of Turkmenistan.

The ceremony was held on November 8 in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the document was signed by the head of the National Barcode Organization of Turkmenistan Aykamar Malikguliyeva and the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country Dovletgeldi Rejepov.
