The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov presented the Vice-President of the Turkmen Alabay Association Batyr Rejepov with the Alabai Ak Dost (Akdus) certificates awarded at competitions of the Russian Canine Federation, TDH reports.
As Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted, the Turkmen Alabay Ak Dost, donated in 2021 by the President of the Turkmen Alabai and the International Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding Association Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov, became the champion of Russia in the Central Asian Shepherd Dog category.
On January 15, 2024, Ak Dost was awarded the first award for purebred and beauty at a competition in which about 200 dogs from all over Russia participated. On January 17, 2024, he received an award for understanding and attentiveness.
Noting that Ak Dost received great appreciation from the judges at these events, the National Leader of the Turkmen people solemnly presented certificates to Batyr Rejepov and congratulated everyone on their well-deserved awards, wishing them further success in glorifying the Turkmen Alabays.
The vice-president of the association gladly accepted the certificates and noted the growing glory of the Turkmen Alabay in the world. He expressed gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people and the President of Turkmenistan for their efforts to popularize Ahal-Teke horses, Turkmen carpets and Alabay at the state level.
As a sign of joy over the victory of the Turkmen Alabay, the Vice President presented on behalf of the people an Alabay puppy named Şatlyk (Joy), so that the National Leader of the Turkmen people would give it as a gift to the President of Turkmenistan.
