The draw for the qualifying tournament for the 2022 Asian Cup in futsal, where the national team of Turkmenistan will recognize its rivals, will take place on January 6 in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
The national team of Turkmenistan will perform in the combined Central and Southern zones of the qualifying tournament for the Asian Cup-2022, which will be held from April 1 to 15, 2022, the official website of the Football Federation of Tajikistan reports.
In accordance with the “seeding” and the mechanism of the draw of the qualifying tournament, 2 groups of 4 teams will be formed in the united Central and South zones. The national team of Turkmenistan was in the third pot together with the team of Afghanistan.
According to the results of the qualifying round, 2 best teams from each group will advance from the South and Central zone to the final of the 2022 Asia Cup, which will be held from September 25 to October 20 in Kuwait.
