The most popular emoji of 2023 is the crying with laughter emoji

According to the Emojipedia portal, in the past year, Internet and social network users most often used emoji that express positive emotions.

In first place was the “tears of joy” emoticon, the second line was the “rolling on the floor laughing” emoticon, and in third place was the “red heart.”

The top ten most popular emoji also included: “prayer”, “crying avidly”, “loving eyes”, “sparks”, “fire”, “great happiness” and “smile with hearts”.

The editor-in-chief of the Emojipedia portal, Keith Broni, believes that the leadership of positive emoji on the list indicates that users often corresponded with friends and family. In communicating with them, they “continued to express positivity,” Broni said.
