The most handsome men in the world have been named according to science

The London Centre for Advanced Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery of the Face, led by Dr. De Silva, conducted a study to determine the most attractive celebrity men from a scientific point of view, Mail.ru reports with reference to the Daily Mail.

The research methodology is based on the ancient Greek concept of the golden ratio, a mathematical proportion considered the standard of beauty. According to this theory, the closer the proportions of a face or body are to the number 1,618 (known as the Phi number), the more perfect it is considered.

Topping the list was actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, whose facial features were 93,04% perfectly proportioned. Dr. De Silva noted that such a high score makes Taylor-Johnson potentially “the most handsome James Bond ever” if rumors of his involvement in the franchise are true.

Second place went to Lucien Laviscount with a score of 92,41%. Scientists particularly noted his ideal proportions of the length and width of his face, which reached an impressive 99,1%.

Paul Mescal rounds out the top three with a score of 92,38%.

The top 10 most attractive men also included famous actors such as Robert Pattinson, George Clooney, Idris Elba, and even Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan.
