The Office for Migration Issues of the Russian MIA Administration for the Orenburg Region on its official website informed about the extension of the validity period of the passports of citizens of Turkmenistan until December 31, 2022.
Referring to the information of the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Kazan, in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 2300 dated July 1, 2021, the validity of foreign passports of citizens of Turkmenistan temporarily or permanently residing in foreign countries, which have expired or will expire from January 1, 2022 to December 30, 2022, extended to December 31, 2022.
In this regard, the Consulate General asks the competent state bodies of Russia to consider as valid foreign passports of citizens of Turkmenistan that fall under the aforementioned Resolution.
Also, upon application of the citizens of Turkmenistan by diplomatic missions and consular offices of Turkmenistan on the territory of Russia, appropriate marks on extension can be made in the foreign passports of citizens of Turkmenistan.
The above mark includes a stamp and a QR code that contains electronic renewal information.
Applications from citizens of Turkmenistan on marks in foreign passports are accepted at the following email address of the Consulate General.
Recall that the Consular Section of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Moscow will begin accepting applications for the renewal of passports from August 2, 2021.
