The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan expressed condolences in connection with the devastating earthquake in Türkiye

On Monday, during a telephone conversation, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov expressed sympathy and support to Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in connection with the devastating earthquake in Türkiye.

Rashid Meredov conveyed deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims, and also wished a speedy recovery to the injured, according to the website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

Let us remind that on February 6, several earthquakes with a magnitude of more than 7 points occurred in Türkiye. According to the latest data, the death toll has risen to 2921, with 15 834 injured. Hundreds of people are listed as missing.

In connection with the numerous victims of the earthquake in Türkiye, a nationwide mourning has been declared, which will last until February 12.
