The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan discussed the importance of holding the VI Vienna Ball in the city of Arkadag

Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister Mahri Bashimova and the head of the Austrian-Turkmen Society Neda Berger. This was stated in a statement by the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

The key point of the discussion was the assessment of the significance of holding the VI Vienna Ball in the city of Arkadag, which was held as part of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet Magtymguly Fragi.

The parties noted that this event became a vivid symbol of active Turkmen-Austrian creative interaction. During the meeting, the results of the activities of the Austrian-Turkmen Society were also reviewed and current and prospective areas of cooperation between the two countries were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to the successful holding of the International Forum “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations - the Basis of Peace and Development” held in Ashgabat. In the context of this event, representatives of both sides exchanged views on the possibilities of further expanding cooperation in the fields of culture, art, science and education.

The meeting emphasized the desire of Turkmenistan and Austria to strengthen bilateral relations and develop cultural ties.
