The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan accepted copies of credentials from the new Ambassador of Spain

On Thursday, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova accepted copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to Turkmenistan (with residence in Moscow) Marcos Gomez Martinez.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, having congratulated the ambassador on his appointment, M. Byashimova expressed the readiness of the Turkmen side to provide assistance and support in the implementation of his diplomatic activities.

The parties reviewed the current agenda of bilateral cooperation, also discussing the prospects for further interaction between Turkmenistan and Spain.

The importance of intensifying partnership in a number of priority areas was noted, such as agriculture, transport and logistics, as well as cooperation in the field of cultural and humanitarian relations, educational programs and learning the Spanish language, the source notes.
