The Mejlis of Turkmenistan ratified the protocol on cooperation with the EU

On July 13, the sixth meeting of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the seventh convocation was held, at which a number of laws were considered and adopted.

According to the agenda, the draft Law “On the Ratification of the Protocol to the Agreement between Turkmenistan and the European Union and its Member States” was presented to the deputies.

The protocol takes into account the accession of new countries to the European Union: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Croatia, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Slovakia.

According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, this bill was unanimously approved and adopted by the Mejlis deputies.
