The Mejlis of Turkmenistan and USAID discussed digitalization and exchange of experience

A meeting was held at the Mejlis of Turkmenistan between USAID representative in Turkmenistan Jeffrey Skarin and representatives of the Mejlis.

The meeting took place within the framework of the “Governance Activities in Turkmenistan” (GAT) project implemented by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). This is stated in a message from the

Turkmen parliament.

The parties discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation between the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and USAID.

The decision was made:

1. Actively support the digitalization of the activities of the main legislative body of Turkmenistan. 2. Exchange experience in legislative work. 3. Join efforts in improving the work of local governments.
