1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the first meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in 2024, at which issues of upcoming events and development plans for the country were discussed. In particular, the agenda included issues of regulating foreign trade and improving investment policy, plans in the areas of construction, fuel and energy complex, culture and information technology.
2.During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the Work Plan of the sectoral departments of the oil and gas complex for the current year.
According to the plan, the state concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit” are tasked with developing new oil and gas fields, increasing the production of natural and associated gas, oil and gas condensate.
