1.The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the country's Armed Forces, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov, held a regular meeting of the State Security Council.The agenda included consideration of the results of the work of the country’s military and law enforcement agencies for January 2024.
Priority tasks have also been identified to ensure security and stability in the country, strengthen the material and technical base of security forces, and further improve their activities, writes the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
2. The President of Turkmenistan appointed junior justice adviser Allanazarov Nedirguly Orazgulyevich as the prosecutor of the city of Ashgabat, releasing him from the post of deputy prosecutor of the Ahal velayat. The head of state signed the corresponding Decree during a regular meeting of the State Security Council.
3.A photo exhibition dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the outstanding classic of Turkmen literature Magtymguly Fragi has opened in Yerevan.The organizers were the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Armenia and the Union of Artists of Armenia.

4.A representative of the Chinese company Hainan Weidu International Travel, during his visit to Turkmenistan, invited interested local departments to consider a project to organize flights from Ashgabat to the city of Sanya.
The new destination for Hainan is supported by the Chinese government with subsidies of about 130 000 USD per flight, he noted.This will permit citizens of Turkmenistan and China to fly on favorable terms in two directions there and back.
5.The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Brussels organized a briefing for European media.Media executives and correspondents from different countries were invited to the event.The head of the diplomatic mission, Sapar Palvanov, in his speech outlined the priorities of the foreign and domestic policies of Turkmenistan.
