At a meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan, Deputy Prime Minister M. Mammedova announced the main events and openings of social and cultural facilities planned for November.
Thus, on the occasion of the announcement of 2024 as the year of “The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi”, it is planned to sum up the results of previously announced creative competitions. Sports competitions will also be held - the Universiade and Spartakiad among students under the name “Turkmenistan - a country of high spirit and health”.
On November 3, the country will widely celebrate the Day of Workers of the Construction and Industrial Complex.
Events in honor of the Harvest Festival are scheduled for November 10.
The “Gorkut Ata” International Film Festival will be held in Ashgabat on November 1315.
From November 14 to 16, it is planned to hold an international exhibition and scientific conference on telecommunications, telemetry, information technology and television and radio broadcasting equipment “Turkmentel-2024”, as well as to summarize the results of the competition of innovative projects “Digital Solution-2024”.
The Deputy Prime Minister reported that a number of other important events, including a nationwide greening campaign, are planned for November this year.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need for proper preparation for the main events planned for November, and also instructed to ensure a high organizational level for the opening ceremonies of facilities, celebrations on the occasion of the Day of Workers of the Construction and Industrial Complex and the Harvest Festival, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
