1. President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon invited the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to take part in the 5th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, which will be held on September 14 in Dushanbe.
2. On September 17, Moscow will host a concert dedicated to the international festival of arts “Sounds of the Dutar” named after Nury Halmamedov. Members of the jury and laureates of the festival from different years will take part in the concert.
3.The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation sent a message of thanks to Turkmenistan expressing deep gratitude for the humanitarian assistance for the children of the Primorsky Territory affected by natural disasters.
The message emphasizes that this gesture of goodwill in the spirit of friendship and mutual assistance is seen as a symbol of the consistently high level of Russian-Turkmen relations.
4.The liner “Peter Veliky” will begin cruises in the Caspian Sea next year.Within the framework of these cruises, the ship will call at the ports of Baku, Aktau, Turkmenbashy and Makhachkala.
Passengers on board the ship will have access to restaurants, spas, gyms, a swimming pool and a sauna.In total, the “floating hotel” has 155 cabins with 310 beds.
The construction of the liner has become an important event for cruise tourism in the region and will serve to develop cooperation in the field of tourism between the Caspian countries.
5.Within the framework of the “Tasty Kazan” festival, under the joint organization of the Committee for Tourism of the city of Kazan and the Consulate General of Turkmenistan, a master class on cooking traditional Turkmen pilaf was held.
It is noted that the pilaf was cooked according to all the canons of Turkmen cuisine, the participants and guests of the festival were able to appreciate the taste of the dish.
Thus, the event contributed to the acquaintance of residents and guests of Kazan with the traditional cuisine of Turkmenistan and the strengthening of cultural ties between the countries.
6.In September 2023, within the framework of the “Big Tour” program, the State Academic Maly Theater of Russia will visit Turkmenistan.The Maly Theater will perform in Turkmenistan from September 18 to 22.
The team will show two performances based on plays by Anton Chekhov: “The Cherry Orchard” and “The Marriage”.These productions will be shown on the stage of the Main Academic Drama Theater of Turkmenistan named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashy.

10.On September 4, the next national basketball championship among men's and women's teams starts in Ashgabat.Six teams will take part in the tournament - teams from the velayats of Turkmenistan and Ashgabat.
The championship will be held in a round robin system.The first round is scheduled for September 4.The final of the tournament will take place on September 9.
According to the results of the competition, the champions of Turkmenistan in basketball among men's and women's teams will be determined.
11. At the Congress of the International Taekwondo Federation ITF, a decision was made to admit the Russian Taekwondo Federation ITF to the members of the Asian Confederation for this sport. Already in 2024, the Russian team, according to plans, will take part in the Asian Championship in India and International Martial Arts in Uzbekistan.
