The largest Christmas tree in the world is lit again in Italy

The annual lighting ceremony of the largest New Year tree in the world was held in the Italian city of Gubbio. The tree is a light installation on the southern slope of Mount Ingino, writes “Habar 24”.

The Christmas tree covers an area of three football fields and reaches a height of 900 meters. Lighting it requires more than 7,5 kilometers of cable.

The first illuminated tree in Gubbio was installed in 1981. In 1991, she was included in the Guinness World Records.
